Timberwolves Release 2023-24 Roster

Led by Anthony Edwards, Timberwolves Aim for Playoff Success

Team Finished 7th in Western Conference Last Season

The Minnesota Timberwolves have released their official roster for the 2023-24 NBA season, with high hopes for a successful campaign. The team, led by All-Star Anthony Edwards, finished 7th in the Western Conference last season with a record of 46-36.

The Timberwolves' roster features a mix of experience and young talent. Edwards is joined by fellow starters Karl-Anthony Towns, D'Angelo Russell, Jaden McDaniels, and Rudy Gobert. The team also boasts a deep bench, with key contributors such as Jaylen Nowell, Taurean Prince, and Naz Reid.

The Timberwolves are hoping to make a deep playoff run this season after being eliminated in the first round last year. The team has added several key pieces to its roster, including Gobert, a three-time NBA All-Star. Gobert is expected to provide a defensive presence and rebounding prowess that the Timberwolves have lacked in recent years.

Edwards, who has emerged as one of the NBA's most exciting young players, will be looking to take another step forward this season. The 21-year-old averaged 21.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game last season. He was also named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.

The Timberwolves will open their season on October 19th at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder. They will face a tough test early on, with games against the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, and Dallas Mavericks in their first 10 games.
