KSHB-TV in Kansas City Celebrates Labor Day with Special Programming

KSHB-TV, the NBC affiliate in Kansas City, Missouri, is commemorating Labor Day with a lineup of special programming and community events designed to honor the contributions of workers and celebrate the holiday.

On Monday, September 5, KSHB-TV will air a special news segment highlighting the history of Labor Day and its significance in the Kansas City area.

The station will also broadcast live from local Labor Day parades and events, including the annual Labor Day Parade in downtown Kansas City.

Labor Day Parade and Festival

The Labor Day Parade will step off at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, September 5, from Pershing Road and Main Street.

The parade route will proceed south on Main Street to 12th Street, then turn west on 12th Street to Grand Boulevard.

Following the parade, the Labor Day Festival will be held at Union Station from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The festival will feature live music, food trucks, and family-friendly activities.

Union Station's "All Aboard for Labor Day" Event

Union Station will also host its annual "All Aboard for Labor Day" event on Monday, September 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The event will feature train-themed activities, live music, and special exhibits.

Admission to the event is free.
